At GoodEarth we choose our community locations with care and deliberation. We seek out locations that offer one a harmony with nature while at the same time being in proximity to all the important locations that one would need for lifestyle, work and recreation. In Bangalore we are located in South Bangalore on Mysore Road, which has an interesting history and is today one of the most sought after locations.

Mysore Road as the name goes, leads to the city of Mysore one of whose many names is “the city of incense.” Is it any surprise then that the road connecting Bangalore and this city smells like freedom?

Once upon a quiet, sleepy road

Just a few decades ago, Mysore Road had comprised mostly agricultural farmlands. The most important landmark close by was the site of the Sholay film shoot. The river Vrishabhavathi would serenely wind its way down with water you could drink (once upon a time, yes). It was also home to many industrial areas and nodes.

Post the IT boom, Mysore Road did lag behind in terms of the numbers, but it did see slow traction. And once it’s sister hubs of Jayanagar and Kanakapura Road started booming, Mysore Road followed suit. However it did so, albeit with a slower and gentler pace. It slowly grew into one of the most sought-after real estate opportunities in Karnataka. One of the important reasons is the emergence of recent initiatives that have allowed it to forge closer ties with city and suburbs.

Mysore Road Today – A Techno-Commercial hub today

Mysore Road today has developed into a major hub, yet without the travails and drawbacks that accompany development. For one, it offers all the advantages of location and infrastructure yet as earlier mentioned, it comes with an air of freedom – a feeling you can expect in a precious few real estate areas that are booming.

On one side, there’s the strategic proximity to schools, colleges, hospitals, malls, and supermarkets. On the other side, it keeps you far from the proverbial madding crowd! The serene ambiance that permeates along this road seems unprecedented, given how easily accessible those private and public facilities are – especially if you are at any of GoodEarth’s residential communities on Mysore Road.

All that you need – A hop, skip and a jump away

In terms of infrastructure, Mysore Road actually offers some of the best options. And even a few that rival the IT hubs located across the city. It houses one of the six major bus station hubs for the city and interstate travel. The NICE Road takes you to any part of Bangalore’s suburbs in a jiffy while the Outer Ring Road gets you into the inner suburbs quickly and easily. The Namma Metro offers a continuously expanding connectivity and the around the corner launch (June 2021) of the Purple with six stations will further accentuate the commuting array, ultimately reaching Bangalore International Airport in the year 2025 as per government messages. This section will also be the first of BMRCL which will have an automatic fare collection system compatible with national common mobility card and QR-enabled payment apps. The Prominent suburban railway stations in Nayandahalli and Kengeri also provide rail access to other parts of Bangalore and Karnataka. The upcoming Challaghatta Metro Station is just 1.5 kms from GoodEarth Malhar. For those who live here, reaching the train station is just a hop, skip and jump away.

South Bangalore’s Latest IT Hub

The growing interest shown by the private sector is another major reason for Mysore Road becoming the talk of the town in the south Indian real estate market. The Global Tech Village, an enormous IT park located a little off the highway, houses some of the largest technology brands like Accenture, Mindtree, Crompton Greaves, and many more. Mysore Road also provides easy access to IT and industrial hubs such as Peenya and Electronic City through the NICE Road. By offering top-notch career opportunities, ensuring better infrastructure, and enabling more travel connectivity – it is rapidly transforming into a fully sustainable job marketplace.

Infrastructure – reach anywhere in a jiffy

The Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor (BMIC) project has taken massive strides – reducing the travel time between Bangalore and Mysore to 90 minutes. One of the near-future projects would be constructing a 6-lane expressway that included five integrated townships and ring roads to make travel faster and more simplified. Reaching the airport from GoodEarth Malhar is fairly comfortable too. Taking the NICE road will get you there in a jiffy avoiding the hustle and bustle of the city

Surrounded by the best educational institutions

And that’s not all – there are high-quality educational centers and schools like Tattva School, Delhi Public School, Candor International, Orchids International School, National Hill View Public School, Jain International Residential School, Valley School, Kumarans School, Steiner School and the Centre for Learning. Amongst the higher educational institutions we have the esteemed RV College of Engineering, Bangalore Institute Of Management Studies, and Don Bosco Institute Of Technology – just to name a few. At GoodEarth our children are easily able to commute as all educational institutions buses and vans access our communities with ease. Just as importantly, this location provides access to world-class hospitals – from BGS International Hospital, RR Medical College, SDS Ayurveda College and Hospital and many more close by.

Entertainment and fun – all around the corner

Unlike heavily urbanized areas, you also get the advantage of walking into departmental stores that are never overcrowded and always well-stocked. If it’s wholesome fun and entertainment you want, there’s plenty of that too. You can shop until you drop at the Gopalan Arcade Mall, drop by Innovative Film City or visit Wonderla – one of the largest chains of amusement parks across India which is just 20 minutes away from GoodEarth Malhar. And if it’s a nice morning of Golf that you crave then you can just head out to the Eagleton Golf Resort which also close by. Whether you have a nuclear family or an extended one, there’s something for everyone along this stretch. And if it’s an early morning drive for one of Bangalore’s famous gastro treats – Idli Vada and Dosa, the Mysore Road’s the place to be. It is a foodie’s delight when it comes to South Indian traditional delicacies. And close to the Kengeri and RR Nagar regions you have gourmet Japanese Food, Biryani Joints and some chic Gastro and Brew pubs in various degrees of proximity.
It’s no surprise that the future of Mysore Road is about to shine bright. And if you are living at GoodEarth Malhar, then you can be sure that you will get the best of all worlds. At GoodEarth our communities express part of the Mysore Road essence. We envision a future where living spaces are built within thriving, bustling, fully integrated communities of people who share a common vision of sustainability.
