Materials we use, understanding of its characteristics, possibilities, design approach driven by needs of the clients, assimilating traditional elements and yet creating something that’s contemporary with modern design influences, set us apart.
Even as design visualisation forms the core of interiors, supervision and execution are crucial. And we excel at it.We predominantly use wood – Teak, Honne, and Pine. Other materials that comprise our palette are rattan, bamboo, fabric, customised brass work such as handles, jaali, and inlay tiles.
While we use wood extensively, veneer, which is but a thin slice of wood, is also used. Both wood and veneer need polishing and care. Whereas laminate of solid wood colours is used sparsely in the inside of cabinets and wardrobes.
Both natural stones – granite and marble – and engineered quartz are used for kitchen counter tops. Engineered stones are expensive, contemporary and come in myriad colours and textures. We use hand-made tiles, a combination of ceramic and imported tiles, for backsplash.
GoodEarth Interior Design has embarked on a new journey, as we now extend our services beyond the Malhar community. This marks a significant milestone for us and we are excited to share our passion for design with a wider audience.
