Beyond the Fence with Sakshara Trust | A step beyond adult literacy

In this episode of Beyond The Fence, we’re sitting down with three Malharites who started Sakshara trust with the simple dream of making an impact in the space of literacy, but as part of the journey they got a whole lot more.

Over the past  5 years, Sakshara trust have not only reached out and helped adults who wanted to learn English, they also taught many of them to crochet and make small items to sell, giving them an additional income to rely on. What’s more, they’ve won the hearts of their neighbours at Malhar, who love this  purpose-driven initiative, their students’ sweet handicrafts, and fledgling Instagram account!
