Despite tough competition, our project Malhar Patterns was acclaimed for its integration of sustainable methodologies in its overall planning and nuanced design features. The goal of the design was to create a harmonious fusion between traditional materials and craft with modernity, reflecting our current society while being firmly rooted in tradition. Thus, our integration of art and craft in architecture can be witnessed with arches, corbelled walls, wooden pillars, and bay windows that add a touch of rustic appeal to the overall design. With 70% of the area allocated as lung spaces to reduce the heat island effect, our distinct landscaping with native species interspersed with water bodies amplifies the natural terrain and fosters the ecosystem.
