Hourdi bricks – a good thermal insulator

At GoodEarth, we use Hourdi blocks for cladding walls as they offer better aesthetics compared to the bricks. The blocks are made of clay, fly ash, coal ash, sawdust, and rice husk ash. They are manufactured by using recycled/waste material and natural substitutes which makes it very eco-friendly.

The “Tastes of Malhar” group

It began as a WhatsApp group within a suburban residential community, just before the pandemic struck our lives in early 2020. It was formed by an enterprising young resident, a fine cook herself, with the objective of bringing GoodEarth Malhar foodies and professional and aspirant cooks on a common platform, laying out a buffet of manifold cuisine types. The Benefits of Rooftop Rainwater Harvesting

Water is a finite resource. Groundwater sources are drying up in many places, and cities are increasingly dependent on groundwater or river sources for drinking water. This dependence is unsustainable because groundwater sources cannot be replenished quickly enough to keep up with demand and rivers run low or even dry up after a bad season of rain. Rooftop rainwater harvesting can help to sustainably meet the demand for clean water without having to wantonly stress out resources such as aquifers or rivers.
